One Odio Fusion A70 Review and Specs: Cheapest Wireless DJ headphones

The OneOdio Fusion A70 is considered to be the cheapest DJ wireless headphone currently in the market. But cheap is not for everyone, so if you are not currently searching for a budget studio headphone, then this particular one is not for you because of the unique features about this product.

I’ve had the audio wearable device far above two months, and I’ve used it interchangeably with other headphones, including the OneOdio A30, I Would say the experience with the A30 is slightly better. But both headphones are not designed for same purpose; while the A30 is a full fledged wireless headphone with active noise cancellation, the Fusion A70 is targeted at studio audio managers, or DJs on budget.

Talking about budget, the OneOdio Fusion A70 costs around N25000 in  the company’s own website. At this price, these are the things you’ll be getting out of the box;

  • The Fusion A70 housed in a pouch
  • Dual duty cable (a 3.5mm to 6.35mm jack)
  • A separate 3.5mm to 3.5mm cord
  • Micro USB 2.0 cable
  • User manual

There is a total of four colors, which includes Black, Red, Gold and Silver, which is the model we received.

OneOdio Fusion A70 Built Quality and Audio Quality

Starting from the built quality, the design language of the A70 seem a little different from the A30 counterpart. It is noticeably light, but the space within the eyecups are not large enough to house my ears, leading to a notable pressure on the ear pinna.

I love the fact that the models has eye-catchy colors. You get a spiral textured design on the back of the cups, but the foams on both cups and the overhead strap seem a little thin.

The adjustable hinge goes right into the overhead strap, and it is noticeable when pulling it around. Sadly the eye-catchy design is a minor  painting that will fade overtime, and it can take heavy scratches too.

As for the Audio quality, you won’t be getting the best sound output, but you aren’t paying the best money either. For a studio headphone sold under N35000; I’d say the sound quality coming from the 40mm speaker drivers are good enough.

Connectivity and Battery Power

The OneOdio Fusion A70 is has both  wired and wireless Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity option. There is a 3.5mm audio port on the right ear with the control buttons, while a bigger 6.35 port with micro USB port are kept on the left ear.

You either use of the ports for an endless music playback, or rely on the Bluetooth connectivity option for up to 50Hrs playback. The recommended distance range is up to 10 miters.

The battery itself is fairly large at 950mAh, which is notably larger than the 500mAh unit used on the A30, although, it does take longer time to charge up to 100% than the A30.

The Fusion A70 from OneOdio is a very good headphone for studio DJs on budget. It just that you must not be tempted to expect too much in order to avoid extreme disappointment. You can purchase the OneOdio Fusion A70 directly from the company
